Inner Mongolia BKJD Robot Co in Baotou city is seeing an overwhelming rise in demand, with orders already surpassing 100 million yuan ($13.83 million) so far this year, according to Yu Jun, chief engineer of the company.
BKJD is dedicated to developing and manufacturing intelligent robots, smart factories, and intelligent mining systems for various industrial manufacturing fields. They have already developed multiple specialized intelligent robots and digital software systems for industries such as steel, non-ferrous metals, rare earth materials, wind power, and photovoltaics.

In March this year, Baotou Huamei Rare Earth High-Tech Co started using BKJD's intelligent inspection robots to inspect low-voltage distribution rooms spanning more than 600 square meters in their workshop. The inspection robots can promptly issue warnings in case of potential faults, significantly improving inspection efficiency and quality.
Professor Han Tian from Beijing University of Science and Technology leads the research team behind BKJD's intelligent inspection robots. He stated that they are currently focusing on promoting the intelligence of rare earth smelting technology. With the shortage of experienced workers in the rare earth smelting industry and the challenging working environment that involves high temperatures and dust, trends are shifting towards using robots to replace manual labor.
Additionally, BKJD has signed contracts with Baotou Aluminum Industry (Group) Co, which has started using BKJD's robots for tasks such as grinding carbon blocks, palletizing, and laser coding, replacing a significant amount of heavy manual labor and hazardous work.
Yu mentioned that they will continue to conduct research in more fields, striving to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the manufacturing industry.
