The Overseas Guest Payment Service Demonstration Area at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport was officially put into operation on March 28, and the Overseas Guest Payment Service Center was unveiled, making it the third airport payment service center in the country, following those in Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport.
Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, has also become the second city in the country to launch an overseas guest payment service center, signaling that Shaanxi has taken the new step in enhancing convenient payment services and optimizing the payment experience for overseas guests.
The service center is located directly opposite the international arrival exit of the airport, providing various services such as promotional materials for payment services, assistance in downloading mobile payment apps, ATMs for cash withdrawals, and currency exchange.
It aims to provide payment service consultations and guidance to overseas guests arriving in Shaanxi at the earliest opportunity, helping them quickly understand and master payment methods in China and facilitating smooth payment transactions within Shaanxi.
The payment service demonstration area, with its service center as the focal point, is linked with various payment service facilities within the airport, offering a diverse payment experience covering five major scenarios, including foreign card utilization, QR code payment, foreign currency exchange, cash usage, and digital yuan.
