Ludovic Weber, chief executive officer of Asia Pacific at Saint-Gobain, a leading French multinational corporation, recently visited Tongzhou district in Nantong, Jiangsu province to explore opportunities for collaboration.
"Tongzhou boasts a strong industrial foundation and a favorable business environment. We hope to establish good communication channels, foster a close and friendly relationship, and seek mutual growth and opportunities," Weber remarked during his visit.
Wang Shaoyong, deputy Party secretary of Tongzhou, said that Saint-Gobain, as an industry leader, aligns well with Tongzhou's industrial layout and development philosophy.
He emphasized that there is ample room for collaboration between the two sides. "We look forward to enhancing communication and cooperation, exploring more possibilities for collaboration, and continuing to write new chapters in the friendship between China and France," Wang added.
Founded in 1665, Saint-Gobain is renowned for designing and producing high-performance materials widely used in construction, transportation, infrastructure, and various industrial sectors.
