A delegation led by Gu Guodong, deputy director of the administrative committee of Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as Wuxi New District, embarked on an investment promotion tour to France and Italy from March 14 to 21.
During the European visit, the delegation signed a letter of intention to establish sister-city relationships with the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. The collaboration aims to foster partnerships across various industries in the future.
At Station F, Europe's largest tech incubator located in the 13th arrondissement, the delegation hosted a seminar attended by over 120 representatives from the French government, universities, research institutions, associations, and businesses.

During the event, the Wuxi National High-Tech District (France) Innovation Center was inaugurated. The center aims to facilitate the exchange of talent, technologies, projects, and businesses between the two regions.
Several projects were formalized during the meeting, including the expansion of the Wuxi factory of TLD, an aviation ground support equipment manufacturer, and the French R&D center of Weben Smart, a factory automation solution provider.

Throughout their European visit, the delegation also visited more than 10 corporate headquarters, institutions, research institutes, and funds. At the Paris headquarters of Cerba, a leading medical laboratory group, an unveiling ceremony of the Teddy-Cerba Joint Laboratory was held. Cerba and Teddy Clinical Research Laboratories signed an agreement last February to build a world-class laboratory in WND.
