The launching ceremony of the sixth Changshan County Peach Blossom Tourism Promotion event was held in Xinchang township, Quzhou, on March 23.
At the event venue, many residents organized a market featuring Changshan delicacies, such as Gong noodles, mountain flour dumplings, and dried sweet potatoes, tempting visitors with their distinctive flavors.
"Last year's Peach Blossom Festival attracted nearly 50,000 tourists, and we expect to surpass that number this year," said Zou Sai, Party head of Xinchang township.
He further elaborated that this year's three-day Peach Blossom Festival includes a diverse range of activities such as an electronic music festival, marathon, talent networking, and other entertaining projects.
"In recent years, Xinchang township has seen the blossoming of numerous excellent projects, including traditional Chinese medicine health care, arrowhead cultivation, rose gardens, loofah cultivation, and photovoltaic panels, which have broadened the path for rural vitalization and shared prosperity," Zou added.
"Bringing in talent and investment is just one of our goals. Hosting successful events, attracting people, and creating opportunities are equally important," Zou explained. He expressed the importance of using cultural and tourism promotion to attract more people to visit and stay in Changshan, achieving common prosperity.
