Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality is currently home to 930 high-tech enterprises, ranking first in Chongqing.
High-tech enterprises in Liangjiang are exploring industry frontiers in automobiles, electronic information and digital economy, accelerating core technology breakthroughs in key areas.
On March 16, CloudWalk Tech independently developed and launched the first domestic AI-native data analysis product, DataGPT, which makes data analysis as simple and natural as everyday conversation.
On March 13, Changan Auto released the latest generation of the Blue Whale Engine. As the world's first global and all-scenario power solution, the latest version will comprehensively advance the power upgrades of its three major brands, Avatr, Deepal, and Qiyuan.
In addition, Mashang Consumer Finance Co (MSCF) has filed invention patent applications for more than 1,000 sets of core technology systems, and its total number of such applications has ranked among the top 10 of over 4,000 financial institutions nationwide.
In March of last year, Chongqing initiated an action plan: by 2025, the municipality aims to have over 10,000 high-tech enterprises and more than 67,000 technology-based enterprises.
Currently, the new area has established 14 national-level and 45 municipal-level innovation and entrepreneurship carriers, with an incubation space of over 1 million square meters. It has also established over 500 research and development platforms at or above the municipal level, with over 80 percent of them led by enterprises.
