Job fair in Xi'an a hit among graduates

The 2024 spring recruitment event for large and medium-sized cities was launched on March 20, at the Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

On the day, a comprehensive job fair for university and college graduates was held concurrently.

A total of 832 companies from across the country participated in the job fair, offering 31,789 job positions that cover more than 10 industries, including transportation and postal services, scientific research and geological survey, information transmission and computer software services, and financial management.

Students participated in on-site negotiations, live job position broadcasts, and were also provided with special areas for career guidance and policy interpretation regarding employment and entrepreneurship. Additionally, 10 employment mentors were invited to provide face-to-face career planning, resume analysis, and job search guidance to the attendees.

The job fair attracted over 23,000 graduates from the class of 2024 as well as those from previous years, with 3,926 reaching preliminary intentions. The event's livestream platform attracted a total of 1.36 million viewers.

The event will continue until May 31.
