Suyang site in Yiyang county, Luoyang, Henan province spans from Yangshao to Longshan cultures around 7,000 to 3,000 years ago.
The unearthed artifacts from this site include pottery, stone artifacts, jade artifacts, bone artifacts, remains of animals and plants and more.
Covering an area of about 630,000 square meters, it was a large central settlement in ancient times in the He-Luo area, with the site shedding light on the social complexity and civilization of this area, having witnessed the formation and development of the early Chinese cultural sphere.
