Job fair in Xixian facilitates employment of intl talents

Nearly 100 international talents recently gathered at the Qinchuangyuan Talent Market in Xixian New Area, a national development zone that was co-built by Xi'an and Xianyang in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, to participate in an international talent job fair.

This was the fourth international talent job fair organized by the human resources service center in the Qinchuangyuan Talent Market. The four job fairs attracted over 400 international talents from more than 10 countries and regions, with 130 expressing their intentions to seek employment.

A Pakistani student from Chang'an University said, "I have been in China for three years, and I will graduate with a master's degree this year. I am looking for a job in China's computer science sector."

A woman from Belarus registered a foreign trade company in Xixian last December. At the job fair, she aimed not only to recruit job seekers from Belarus, but to also attract Chinese talents to join her enterprise. She stated, "The China-Europe Chang'an freight train has provided great convenience for international trade. I want to seize this great opportunity, attract talents familiar with the language and trade policies of countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, and strengthen and expand my business in China. I want to encourage my friends in Belarus to consider starting a business and living in China."

The job fair also featured special areas for policy consultation, career planning, resume guidance, and networking. These areas provided international job seekers with services in visa, residence, and social insurance policy consultations in order to help them better pursue employment opportunities.

Zhao Hongqing, director of the Xixian's human resources service center, stated, "We will organize more employment policy counseling, incentive policy promotion, employment and entrepreneurship training camps, and cultural exchange activities in order to build a high-quality international talent service platform."
