On March 12, the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) hosted an event for sci-tech achievement transfer in the automotive industrial chain at the Intelligent Connected and Electric Vehicle Industrial Park.
The event featured activities such as the signing of technology transfer projects, project roadshows, expert evaluations, and technology supply-demand matchmaking.
Guided by the Wuhan sci-tech achievement transfer promotion center, the event aimed to build a bridge between technology enterprises in the WEDZ and academic institutions, as well as financial organizations. This will facilitate the precise integration of technology achievements with capital and educational institutions.
The signed projects focused on key emerging industries, such as new energy vehicles, new materials, and intelligent testing equipment.
During the meeting, Zheng Guojian, a specially appointed expert from the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Hubei Province, delivered a keynote speech on "Trends and Cutting-edge Technologies in the Development of Intelligent Vehicles".
Zheng also mentioned that companies in the automotive parts industry are encountering new development opportunities in the era of intelligent and electric vehicles. These new opportunities require further iteration and upgrading in areas such as products, research and development, marketing, industrialization, and supply chain.
Simultaneously, six enterprises conducted roadshow presentations on project achievements and technological requirements.
