A Mount Tai-themed post office, located at the entrance of the mountain's Hongmen Gate, opened for business on March 11, helping promote the environment, history, culture, and local customs of Tai'an.
The themed post office focuses on providing a memorable experience for visitors, showcasing postcards, special postal items, and cultural and creative products. It also offers cultural interpretation, self-service printing, commemorative stamps, and future mail services.
It features four product categories that integrate Mount Tai culture, national popular culture, postal culture, and fu culture, incorporating postcards, philatelic items, creative derivatives, and cultural products. The post office offers a wide range of cultural souvenirs with exclusive postal resources to meet the demands of tourists.
The post office also includes an exhibition area showcasing rubbing artworks from Zhuyang town, promoting the art form and solidifying Zhuyang town's reputation as the "hometown of rubbings", a prominent cultural and tourism brand.
"If words are not enough to express your feelings, you can also create a unique and personalized audio postcard through our custom postcard printing machine," said a worker at the post office.
The commemorative covers and colorful postal cancellations for the themed post office were also issued during the opening event, attracting many visitors.
