Jinan talent recruitment event held at SDU

The 2024 Jinan talent recruitment and attraction event was held on the central campus of Shandong University (SDU) in Jinan on March 6, marking the university's first large-scale talent exchange event this year.

A total of 211 employers, including China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, offered 1,095 high-quality jobs and were in need of 18,000 talents.

The event attracted over 3,000 SDU students, resulting in the submission of 8,570 resumes. A total of 1850 individuals reached intent-to-work agreements, including 39 doctoral students, 1,036 master's students, and 775 undergraduates. Furthermore, 105 individuals officially signed contracts, including four doctoral students, 61 master's students, and 40 undergraduates.

Jinan is focusing on building a talent chain around the industrial chain, striving to construct a new mechanism for collaboration among "universities", "talent", "enterprises", "parks", and "industries", achieving robust cooperation between domestic and international university talents, experts, projects, achievements, and the innovative development of Jinan's leading industries.

This year, Jinan will focus on establishing direct communication channels between universities and enterprises, parks, and industries, leveraging online platforms to attract talent for key projects and industries across the city, thereby supporting collaborative technological breakthroughs and the commercialization of scientific achievements.

In response to the development needs of key industrial clusters in Jinan, such as digital economy, green economy, and biopharmaceuticals, Jinan will organize groups of key industrial enterprises to visit 37 targeted universities including Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Central South University, and Beijing Institute of Technology to carry out talent recruitment activities.

Ninety-six employers from the Jinan metropolitan circle, including cities like Zibo, Tai'an, Liaocheng, Dezhou, and Binzhou, participated in the talent recruitment event, offering 535 jobs and requiring 3,932 talents.

In addition, the six cities in the Jinan metropolitan circle signed an agreement to establish the Jinan metropolitan circle talent service alliance.
