The media village of Hangzhou Asian Games has recently been repurposed into rental apartments for various talent in the city, local media outlets reported.

During the Hangzhou Asian (Para) Games, the media village hosted over 3,000 media personnel from more than 500 news agencies worldwide. Its elegant environment, plentiful facilities, extensive green landscapes, and multifunctional living spaces left a lasting impression on journalists covering the Games.

Located on the banks of the Qiantang River and adjacent to major areas like the Qianjiang New City, Olympic Sports Center, and Binjiang High-tech Zone, the apartments are conveniently served by Metro Line 6, just four stops away from Hangzhoudong Railway Station.

The apartments come in two types: 40-square-meter units with one bedroom, one kitchen, and one bathroom, and 60-sq-m units with one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen, and one bathroom. All units are fully furnished with basic appliances and furniture, including water heaters, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, beds, wardrobes, desks, and chairs. Additionally, all rooms are equipped with water purifiers, air purifiers, electric windows, and fire sprinklers.

Desired rental applicants mainly include high-level talent classified as A, B, C, D, or E by the Hangzhou government, F-class talent (scarce practical talent) recognized by the Hangzhou government, talent recognized by the Xiaoshan district government, and graduates with a junior college education or above.

Specific requirements for renting talent apartments are subject to the final announcement.
