A delegation from Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, led by Hua Yanhong, deputy director of the district's administrative committee, visited Japan and South Korea from Feb 22 to 29 to attract investment and advance cooperation.
The delegation visited the headquarters of over 20 companies including Panasonic, Sumitomo Chemical, Sharp, LG Chem, SK Hynix, Samsung SDI, and Hyundai Mobis, where they briefed senior executives on the latest developments, investment environment, and business climate of Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as Wuxi New District (WND).
During the eight-day visit, Japanese mechanical seals and equipment products manufacturer Eagle Industry signed an agreement with the WND delegation to establish its China sales headquarters. This move, combined with its existing production base and research and development center in WND, will help the company form a complete industrial chain layout.
