To take advantage of the peak period of labor mobility — a critical period for enterprises to resume work and production before and after Spring Festival — Guyuan negotiated with the human resources and social security departments of Fuzhou and Xiamen in Fujian to organize enterprises to recruit in Guyuan. Some 168 companies provided 15,000 job positions.
In addition, job information was shared through WeChat public accounts, village groups and self-service terminals.
In recent years, Guyuan has implemented an "employment first" strategy, with more than 300,000 people working in other cities every year. Last year, the city's migrant workers earned an income of 7.5 billion yuan, and more than 10,000 were employed in Fujian.
