The annual customs clearance cargo volume at Ceke Port reached 19.13 million metric tons in 2023, with a total import and export trade value of 12.45 billion yuan ($1.73 billion), marking the highest record in the port's 31-year history.
In 2023, the port focused on enhancing its openness and development. Efforts were concentrated on improving service quality, streamlining customs clearance processes, and enhancing its inspection and release efficiency. Additionally, the port's customs facilities were substantially upgraded and renovated during this time, continuously bolstering the port's customs clearance capabilities.
Simultaneously, it actively promoted the application of the national standard version of the "single window" system, which has improved the supporting facilities of the port's information platform. This helped the port achieve real-time access to customs information and facilitate data sharing. Innovative customs clearance service models were emphasized at the port, and measures such as strengthening enterprise credit management and implementing overseas coal inspection and recognition services were put into place. This resulted in a more efficient and convenient customs clearance environment.
In 2023, Ceke Port vigorously implemented the construction of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) unmanned driving and intelligent heavy-duty truck transportation projects, with a total investment of 570 million yuan. Twenty-three unmanned AGV vehicles and five intelligent heavy-duty trucks were put into operation in the port last year, which significantly enhanced its customs clearance and cargo handling capabilities.
