These days, workers in the production workshop of Inner Mongolia North Heavy Trucks Group Co, located in Baotou city, have been busy working at full speed to complete a batch of overseas orders.
Wang Yu, head of the company's international trade department, introduced that four electric wheel mining trucks are currently being assembled at their workshop. Once completed, these trucks will be shipped to overseas markets in early March. And in April, there will be an additional export of 16 TR60 trucks.
On the eve of the Spring Festival, the company learned that more than 300 of its imported parts, such as transmission shafts and gears, needed to be cleared during the holiday.
To ensure the smooth customs clearance of these parts, Baotou Customs formulated a customs clearance plan in advance, refining measures such as pre-declaration. This plan ensured that enterprises did not have to stop production due to the holiday.
On Feb 23, after the holiday, Baotou Customs followed up with Inner Mongolia North Heavy Trucks Group Co. Baotou Customs personnel visited the company's production line, learned about the company's foreign trade situation, and listened to opinions and suggestions on customs clearance work.
In addition, the customs representatives also conducted RCEP-related policy explanations, guiding all enterprises in the city to enjoy preferential policies in order to reduce operating costs.
Currently, the company's foreign markets have expanded to 67 countries and regions. Next, it will continue to develop high-end mining trucks and continuously expand its international market reach.
