Young people actively participated in this year's folk art show recently held in Yongdeng county in Lanzhou, Gansu province.
Youths were seen during a parade celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year on Wednesday, wearing traditional costumes and their faces decorated with oil paint.
More than 10 dragon dance teams and over 2,000 residents joined the event. Performances included waist drums, fan dances, and stilt walking, some of which were performed by children. Most of the displays are part of local intangible cultural heritage.
Residents used short videos and live-streaming to promote the event.
