Cultural event held in Jinan's French sister city

Jinan held a cultural exchange event at the "Corner of Chinese Culture · Nishan Library" in Rennes, France on Feb 22, ahead of Lantern Festival, giving both the Chinese and French an opportunity to experience traditional Chinese culture.

The event venue was decorated with large red lanterns, and participants watched a video introducing Jinan's spring water, finding themselves impressed by the unique charm of the city.

Experts in Confucianism, Jinan culture, and Chinese culture attended to share the culture and stories behind Jinan and its spring water.

Foreign participants also tried their hands at traditional skills such as paper-cutting and writing the Chinese character fu in calligraphy, experiencing the charm of Chinese culture and art.

The event was aimed at showcasing the richness of Chinese culture and building a bridge of friendship between the people of China and France. In addition, it further promoted cultural exchanges between the sister cities of Jinan and Rennes.
