The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region secured the top spot in Inner Mongolia's business environment assessment for the year 2023, retaining its championship ranking for the fourth consecutive year.
The city achieved significant breakthroughs in the number of individual championships and outstanding indicators. This is according to information from the 2024 Inner Mongolia Investment Promotion and Integrity Building Conference, which was held on Feb 21.
Ordos also achieved first place in the "Comprehensive Assessment of Advanced Leagues and Cities in Investment Promotion", first place in the "Business Environment Assessment of Advanced Leagues and Cities", as well as individual awards for "Incremental Funding Achievement", "Major Project Investment Attraction", and "Utilization of Foreign Capital".
During the conference, attendees were treated to a comprehensive documentary showcasing the region's investment promotion efforts.
Yang Jin, vice chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government, read out the decision of the CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Government in terms of rewarding the leagues, cities, collectives, and individuals who have shown outstanding investment promotion outcomes in 2023.
