Northeastern provinces propose winter culture and tourism cooperation

Northeastern Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces jointly proposed for coordinated development of the winter tourism economy and regional cooperation in culture and tourism consumption on Jan 25.

The proposal was issued during the 2024 National Spring Festival Cultural and Tourism Consumption Month hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The proposal calls for deepening cooperation in seven areas, including establishing a long-term regional cooperation mechanism, jointly building ice-and-snow tourism destinations, guiding the development of ice-and-snow industry clusters, improving regional integrated consumption measures, jointly conducting cross-regional cooperative activities, and creating a good festive consumption atmosphere during Spring Festival.
