Angsu town in the city of Ordos, with a resident population of less than 8,000, has over 5,000 volleyball enthusiasts.

There are 49 volleyball teams made up of farmers and herdsmen, and the town regularly hosts events, such as couple's volleyball tournaments, volleyball culture festivals, and senior volleyball matches.

Aorigele, director of the publicity department of Otog Front Banner, stated that volleyball is thriving in Angsu town, and it has become a new symbol of local development.

Currently, over 1,000 people participate in neighborhood-organized volleyball matches, and some even travel throughout Inner Mongolia to join in invitational matches.

Entering Angsu town, the eye-catching volleyball murals along the roadside draw attention. Inside the volleyball culture exhibition hall, competition balls and players' jerseys are neatly arranged, and the cheers and shouts from the nearby volleyball courts fill the atmosphere with excitement.

Currently, Angsu town has 24 volleyball courts and five indoor volleyball halls. All public sports facilities in Angsu and its 19 villages and sub-districts are open to the public either for free or at a low cost.
