Hefei High-tech Zone unveils fun Spring Festival events

A raft of fun events will take place in the Hefei High-tech Zone during the Spring Festival holiday, offering residents and visitors the chance to celebrate and enjoy the festive season to the maximum.

In the zone – located in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – an exhibition of calligraphy, painting, paper-cutting and dragon-themed handicrafts will be held at the Tianle Community Service Center, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Feb 12.

What's more, a community feast will be held at the same location on the afternoon of Feb 15. Residents are invited to bring a dish from their hometown to share and enjoy it with others.

Elsewhere, Hefei Shazhichuan Outlets will hold brand promotions activities and a lucky draw event from now to Feb 17. Spring Festival discount vouchers are also available.

The Intime Department Store in the Hefei High-tech Zone will offer free gifts and hold Valentine's Day activities on Feb 12-24. A lantern parade and riddle-guessing activities will be held there on Feb 24-25 to celebrate the Lantern Festival.

A dragon-themed carnival featuring animal-themed plays and games will be held at Hefei Wildlife Park on Feb 10-17.
