Hefei High-Tech Zone leads the way in employment promotion

On Jan 27, the Hefei High-tech Zone hosted its first job fair of the year, attracting 19 companies and offering 910 positions. The event marked a strong start for the zone's efforts to boost employment this year.

In addition to the job fair, the Hefei High-tech Zone has organized enterprises to participate in recruitment activities in other cities, such as Puyang in Henan province and Fuyang in Anhui province.

In January, the zone saw an impressive 8,086 new jobs created.

In 2023, the Hefei High-tech Zone fully implemented new employment promotion policies, issuing over 73 million yuan ($10 million) in various employment subsidies to benefit more than 30,000 people.

The zone also carried out employment skills training, greatly improving the employability of residents. In 2023, the zone organized various training programs for 16,300 people and allocated over 21 million yuan in training subsidies.

Looking ahead, the Hefei High-tech Zone will continue to prioritize employment promotion in 2024, focusing on expanding employment channels, offering employment services, and carrying out more employment skills training sessions.
