Authorities of Nantong in Jiangsu province will carry out 100 cultural activities to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 10 this year.
The 100 activities fall into six categories – themed activities, art performances, exhibitions, activities integrating culture and tourism, reading, and social education at museums.

For example, on Feb 14, Nanda Street will host a folk parade comprising the Hai'an dragon dance, the Hai'an flower-drum dance, and Rugao's traditional Lianxiang and Daohualan dances.
On Feb 14, the 15th Lantern Festival Celebrations in Nantong will kick off at Zilang Shopping Mall. Various activities, including performances, poetry readings, and lantern shows, will be organized to entertain people of all ages.
From Feb 24 to 25, a Lantern Festival-themed gathering will be held at the Huanxi Cultural Square, where residents can solve lantern riddles, wander about in a bazaar, and experience other folk activities.
