Hidden 'dragon' attractions in Jinan: must-visit spots for Year of the Dragon

In Jinan, when it comes to dragon-related places, the first thing that comes to mind is the Five Dragon Pool Park.

Facing the east gate of the park is the "Five Dragon Sculpture", in which five long dragons soar into the sky as they spout wisps of spring water, symbolizing auspiciousness. This is also a must-visit spot for those looking to take photos.

A magnificent screen wall with five flying dragons carved in it, known as the "Five Dragon Wall", is facing the south gate of the park. The vividly carved dragons exude a vibrant and lifelike energy.

At the heart of the park lies a pond of crystal-clear water, known as the "Five Dragon Pool", where countless colorful koi fish can be seen swimming at the bottom.

In the southern mountainous area of Jinan, the majestic Longgong Palace lies hidden in the Qingtong Mountain Grand Canyon.

The Longgong Palace tourist attraction is divided into two halls including 10 breathtaking scenic sites.

Longmen Mountain, the source of Longmen Spring, is a large tourist area offering sightseeing, leisure, family study tours, and ecological fruit picking. With towering mountains, unique flora, and winding rivers, it boasts abundant natural resources and picturesque scenery.

Jiulong Mountain Scenic Area, located in Gangcheng district, boasts unique geological formations and natural landscapes due to tectonic movements.

The Jiulong Wall, a type of screen wall in traditional Chinese architecture, dazzles with a radiant glow at sunrise, casting a resplendent light on its nine dragons, creating a lifelike and breathtaking spectacle.
