To welcome the upcoming Spring Festival, authorities of the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone (NETDA) recently invited calligraphers and calligraphy enthusiasts from local middle and primary schools to write Spring Festival couplets for local residents at the NETDA Public Cultural Center.

Handwritten couplets are essential for creating a truly festive vibe, said a senior resident surnamed Wang, who was impressed by the calligraphy works of middle and primary school students at the activity.
During the two-hour activity, over 500 Spring Festival couplets and papers written with the Chinese character "福" (meaning blessing in English) were handed out.

This is the sixth year that NETDA has arranged such activities, which will be available for residents working in Reshine New Material, Senior Material, and Aeon Mall over the following days.
