The Cross-Strait (Wuhan) Automobile Technology Innovation Alliance held an industrial match-making meeting on Jan 23 in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), located in Wuhan of Central China's Hubei province.
Chen Hao, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Motor Co; Tang Chao, director of WEDZ's management committee; and Chen Hongqin, rotating president of the alliance, attended the event.
The alliance was established to promote cooperation between Taiwan and Wuhan enterprises in the automobile, automotive electronics, and electric appliances fields, thus boosting the integrated development of the automotive spare parts sector of the two regions.
WEDZ is where Dongfeng Motor Co is headquartered, and is also leading the national Wuhan-Xiangyang-Shiyan-Suizhou automobile industrial cluster. Dongfeng Motor Co became a supporting unit of the alliance at the event.
The event also featured a series of investment promotion and project match-making activities between Taiwan and Wuhan companies in fields of autonomous driving, new energy, internet of vehicles, and supporting systems.
