The summary meeting of the year's sailing exchange visiting delegations was held in the coastal city of Qingdao, East China's Shandong province on Jan 19. A group of people who participated in the visiting delegations to Macao, Spain, and Singapore attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the leaders, coaches, and athlete representatives of the visiting delegations to Macao, Spain, and Singapore shared their experiences and what they learned from participating in competitions. While successfully completing their competitive tasks and achieving strong results, each delegation also engaged in face-to-face exchanges with local and international athletes. Additionally, each delegation actively promoted Qingdao's "City of Sailing" brand and the development of sailing sports in Qingdao, allowing young people from around the world to better understand Qingdao and China.

In 2023, the Qingdao Municipal Sports Development Center took the initiative to resume international and domestic sailing exchanges.

Over 600 leaders, coaches, and athletes participated in the 15th Qingdao International Sailing Week and Qingdao International Ocean Festival in 2023. Qingdao also signed sailing exchange agreements with sailing associations, clubs, and foundations from countries such as South Africa, Poland, Australia, and Thailand.

In 2023, a total of 25 young people and coaches from Qingdao were sent abroad to participate in sailing sport exchange competitions, facilitating youth exchange channels and further enhancing the reputation and influence of Qingdao as the "City of Sailing."
