Qifangqiao village, located in the Hongshan sub-district of Xinwu district in Wuxi, has been selected as one of Wuxi's best cultural spaces for the year 2023.
By making the most of its natural landscapes and cultural resources, the village is committed to promoting rural tourism. It has built cultural parks and field sightseeing routes while preserving its original rustic charm to showcase the style of a typical water town in the Jiangnan region (areas south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River).
In addition to Qifangqiao village, Hongshan boasts several public cultural spaces, such as the shared residence of Qian Mu, an established historian, and Qian Weichang, a scientist and nephew of Qian Mu, as well as Yingxiang Academy.

The Yingxiang Academy houses a collection of over 4,000 books, spanning categories such as politics, culture, arts, history, philosophy, and general knowledge, catering to diverse reading interests. The second floor provides shared space for hosting salons, hands-on DIY activities, and various engaging events.
