Art program offers young talent a chance to shine

The art incubation program launched by Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles was unveiled in Beijing on Jan 19, with 13 winners standing out from the yearlong program.

The winning programs cover a diversity of art forms, such as musical, Peking Opera, and dance drama. During the event, excerpts of the winning works were displayed.

The program has provided opportunities for young talent to undertake new art projects and to make those art works accessible to the public. Supported by experts and scholars of theaters, the program has allowed young people to create their own art works from the very beginning, as well as holding workshops, talks and exhibitions of their works.
