Off-road enthusiasts from various parts of Zhejiang province gathered at the G60 Automobile Theme Park in Longyou county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province on Jan 19.
The event showcased over a hundred off-road racing cars, unleashing their full horsepower and transforming the venue into a real-life version of The Fast and the Furious.
The race featured two distinct categories based on drivers and vehicles — the Open Class, boasting 22 professional racing cars, and the Production Class, comprising 45 stock vehicles.
The track, a blend of purpose-built elements and natural obstacles, provided a challenging off-road course.
Amidst drifting, sudden stops, and sharp turns, the thunderous engines propelled the race cars through a series of high-difficulty maneuvers, enveloping the surroundings in clouds of yellow dust. This thrilling spectacle captivated attending locals and tourists alike.
Longyou has a profound and enduring connection with motorsport. Since 2003, the county has been the proud host of 13 editions of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship and 16 editions of the China Rally Championship, solidifying its status as the leading destination for rally events in China and earning the esteemed title of the "hometown of Chinese rally racing".
