On Jan 18, the woods of the Tianqiaoling Forest Area in Northeast China's Jilin province came alive at the sight of a flock of Bohemian Waxwings. These birds added a vibrant touch to the winter scenery.
Bohemian Waxwings are considered auspicious birds, and are known for their lively nature and preference for foraging and playing in woodlands and orchards.
Birds serve as indicators of ecological health. With ongoing efforts to enhance its ecological environment, coupled with increased public awareness and protection of birds, the Tianqiaoling Forest Area is now home to various bird species, including the Bohemian Waxwing.
