The streamlined corporate policy reform in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), which was jointly implemented by the zone's economy and information technology bureau and administrative examination and approval bureau, was recently recognized and promoted nationwide.
The first streamlined policy application office in WEDZ was set up in 2018, and a corresponding online service platform was established in 2023.
The service platform allows the online handling of more than 100 government affairs. All enterprises need to do is to choose the applicable government policies and apply for approval online, which is as convenient as putting things into the cart when going shopping.
Since its establishment over five years ago, the office has assisted 8,000 companies in receiving government support, involving subsidies and funds totaling 2 billion yuan ($278.6 million). So far, the service platform has registered over 2,000 companies and nearly 60,000 online visits.
