Hyatech in WND to expand aero engine production with new facility

The third phase of the aero engine core part manufacturing plant of Wuxi Hyatech Co Ltd commenced operations on Jan 1, marking a significant milestone for Wuxi's aviation sector.

Located in the Wuxi New District (WND) or Xinwu district of Wuxi, Hyatech is dedicated to the development and manufacturing of aero engine parts such as compressor blades. The third phase of the plant, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($140.09 million), can produce 1.2 million compressor blades, 3,000 structural parts, and 3,000 rotating parts annually. It is expected to increase the company's annual sales by 2 billion yuan.

WND is currently home to a cluster of leading aerospace enterprises. This has contributed to the formation of a relatively complete industrial chain encompassing sectors such as raw materials, key components, system integration, testing and maintenance.
