The first batch of 35 Chinese-manufactured buses, ordered by Mongolia, departed from the Ereenhot Highway Port on Dec 27 and arrived in Ulaanbaatar on Dec 29, where they were immediately put into service in the city's public transportation sector.
This marked the first time that commodity vehicles were exported in bulk at nighttime since the implementation of 24-hour customs clearance at the Ereenhot port.

The Ereenhot port opened a "green channel" and introduced services like "appointment clearance" to facilitate the smooth export of "Made in China" products.
Mongolia has ordered a total of 600 buses from China. The remaining vehicles will be delivered by Jan 31, 2024.
