The official English website of China's top procuratorate was launched on Tuesday.
Hosted by the Supreme People's Procuratorate and operated by China Daily, the website is considered a starting point for enhancing the international communication capacity of procuratorial organs, conveying the voice of Chinese procuratorates to the international community and promoting the better dissemination of Chinese legal culture worldwide, Tong Jianming, executive prosecutor-general of SPP, said at the launching ceremony.
Through the website,https://en.spp.gov.cn/, people from home and abroad can receive information on Chinese procuratorial organs' news, policy interpretations, external exchanges and legal services.
The website is dedicated to creating a new platform for Chinese prosecutors to introduce their work as well as a new channel for the country to advance the construction of rule of law in matters of foreign affairs, Tong said, calling for prosecutors nationwide to pay greater efforts to interpret procuratorial concepts, measures and practices with the Chinese characteristics, and make full use of the website to introduce the Chinese procuratorial affairs.
