Changjiang Automobile Industry Supply Chain Co, located in the Intelligent Connected and Electric Vehicle Industrial Park of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), signed contracts worth over 4.1 billion yuan ($571.13 million) in eight months.
Changjiang Supply Chain was established in April of this year, and focuses on four major areas: bulk raw materials, complete vehicles, components, and finance.
Earlier this month, the company signed a strategic agreement with Lotus regarding a vehicle export project. Leveraging the advantages of the company's supply chain, Lotus plans to export over 100 vehicles with a total value of nearly 75 million yuan.
This year, Changjiang Supply Chain has also established partnerships with Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Co, Dongfeng Nissan, Dongfeng Honda, and other Dongfeng affiliated vehicle manufacturers.
Changjiang Supply Chain is building three major platforms in the WEDZ that focus on auto spare parts supply, supply chain logistics, and supply chain financial services respectively.
In the future, the company plans to further its cooperation with equipment manufacturers and establish overseas warehouses in Europe and South America to assist domestic vehicle brands expand into international markets.
