Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province has recently been transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland after a cold wave swept through the region.
Among the awe-inspiring icy landscapes is the three-fold waterfall in Lichun village, Xikou town, Fenghua district. Perched on a shaded slope at an elevation of nearly 600 meters, it is a sight to behold. Normally, water flows down in three tiers, creating a mesmerizing display of glistening droplets. However, the recent cold wave has turned the waterfall into a frozen marvel.
Visitors arriving at the waterfall are greeted by the sight of cascades frozen solid, except for the central stream, which continues its rapid descent.
Another winter paradise in Ningbo is the mountainous region of Longguan township in Haishu district. At an altitude of more than 600 meters, near the mountaintop, a stunning vista awaits. Along the winding mountain road, glistening plants and branches are delicately encased in ice. Bathed in sunlight, the icy landscape sparkles like a fairy tale world, captivating all who witness it.
The transformation of these natural wonders into frozen masterpieces has turned Ningbo into a captivating winter wonderland, attracting visitors from near and far.
