An Airbus A340-600 imported from Thailand arrived at the Wusu Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, for bonded warehousing on Dec 24.
It's the first aircraft imported in the form of bonded logistics in Shanxi.
The successful customs clearance and entry of the bonded aircraft into the zone is an important achievement in the development of the airport economic zones in the province.
It is also a key measure for the province to promote the coordinated development of an outward-oriented economy and the layout of the airport economic belt through the comprehensive bonded zone platform.
The Wusu Comprehensive Bonded Zone is one of the functional parks in the Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone. It is adjacent to Taiyuan Wusu International Airport and has core functions such as processing and manufacturing, logistics distribution, testing and maintenance, research and development, and sales services.
Shanxi will further enhance the functions of the comprehensive bonded zone as an open platform, make full use of the policies of the customs special supervision area, boost the airport economy, and promote the high-level opening and high-quality development of the zone.
