Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province has recently achieved the "outstanding" rating in a national assessment of cities' digital government service capabilities. This is the second consecutive year that the city has attained the distinction, underscoring its unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional digital services to its residents.
The evaluation encompassed 32 provincial-level cities and 32 key cities, including those specifically designated in the State plan. It comprehensively assessed a range of indicators, such as management assurance, platform support, data empowerment, service maturity, governance precision, transparency, and public satisfaction.
Ningbo's unified digital management system for urban governance has also been listed among the 50 outstanding innovative cases in the field of digital government for 2023.
These exceptional achievements can primarily be attributed to the efforts made by Ningbo in advancing the implementation of its Integrated Resource System. Presently, the system efficiently manages and operates 1,389 applications and over 30,000 types of data throughout the entire city.
