Ugandan scholar Ester Muheesi recently had an exchange with over 60 primary school students from Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) at the Qingdao World Sinology Center.
The event, themed "I am a Cultural Torchbearer", provided Muheesi the opportunity to share her life experiences and introduce Uganda's natural landscape, customs, cuisine and interesting anecdotes. She also spoke about the geography, history, culture and school curriculum of Uganda.

This year, Qingdao WCNA and the Qingdao World Sinology Center have jointly organized various cultural exchange activities involving Chinese and foreigners.
More than 100 sinologists and young scholars from over 70 countries have participated in these events, through which they got to learn more about Chinese basic education and traditional Chinese culture.
