Twenty-three provincial-level service stations for female employees and 44 selected volunteer service projects for 2023 were praised by the provincial labor union.
The service stations in NETDA-based Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co Ltd and Nantong University's affiliated hospital were listed as provincial demonstration sites.
Among the recognized provincial volunteer service projects are the city's public service lecture and a special supervision project for the protection of female workers' rights.
Additionally, projects from Qidong, a county-level city under the administration of the city, and Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area also gained recognition.
To bring the union and its service closer to the female members, the provincial labor union initiated the carnation service plan in 2021, aiming to create a kind of comprehensive one-stop service station. In 2022, a meticulous evaluation of station construction and service effectiveness was launched.
Nantong made a notable advance in its service plans in 2023, mainly by effectively addressing the urgent concerns of workers and enhancing their overall well-being. Currently, the city boasts 229 fully functional service stations, underscoring the city's commitment to women's welfare.
