Dynamic incubator thrives in Hefei high-tech zone

The 5F Innovation Park in the Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone – located in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – has added 23 national high-tech enterprises so far this year.

That achievement has brought the total number of national high-tech companies cultivated there to over 100 over the past three years.

The 5F Innovation Park is the first private micro and small-sized enterprise incubator for the TMT – telecommunications, media and technology – industry in Anhui province.

It is being funded and operated by Anhui Wufu Investment Management Co and was upgraded to a national-level science and technology business incubator last year.

In recent years, the 5F Innovation Park has introduced a number of start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises and provided door-to-door services and guidance to boost their development.

As a result, it's cultivated 104 national-level high-tech companies–for the high-tech zone over the past three years.

Moving forwards, plans are for the park to prioritize the development of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises, as well as boost the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements to cultivate more high-tech enterprises.
