Intl symposium explores sustainable urban development

On Dec 8, the 2023 Global Mayors' Forum held a sub-forum on the coordinated development of global bay areas and city clusters.

This conference brought together city administrators and expert scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds to collectively explore the experiences of global urban cluster development and regional innovation. 

It delved into the significant roles of bay areas and urban clusters in the global economy. The forum also discussed how to achieve deeper cooperation and mutual success in the context of globalization.

Expert scholars in attendance also presented their views and suggestions regarding the development of bay areas and urban clusters. This included the emphasis on creating a forward-looking international perspective and mindset that will drive the development trends of global urban clusters.
