Forum in Xi'an discusses green, low-carbon development

The 2023 Green and Low-Carbon Development Forum was held in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Dec 9, themed on "Innovation empowers and quality leads to open up a new track for green development".

During the forum, participants exchanged insights from academic research and shared their experiences across diverse fields. Topics ranged from the avant-garde application of green construction technologies for the optimal utilization of industrial solid waste to discussions on green and low-carbon construction practices.

Industry experts proposed suggestions for further expanding and promoting the development of green and low-carbon technologies in the construction industry.

They emphasized the integration of greening, industrialization, digitization, innovation, and green construction technology standards.

Also, the China Association of Circular Economy, China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association, and China Academy of Building Research signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Shaanxi Association of Resource Comprehensive Utilization and the Xi'an Association of Building Energy Efficiency.

After the forum, the second annual general meeting of the Xi'an Association of Building Energy Efficiency was held. The association is committed to creating a new development situation and writing a new chapter for the future green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of the construction industry.
