A total of 32 major coal enterprises signed mid and long-term coal contracts for the year 2024, totaling around 400 million metric tons during the China Coal Trade Fair on Tuesday in Tangshan, Hebei province.
Liang Jiakun, head of the China National Coal Association, the fair's host, said that the proportion of modernized coal mines with a focus on safety, efficiency, intelligence, and environmental sustainability has reached 80 percent as of date.
