Inner Mongolia invites investors to share energy development opportunities

"We sincerely invite guests from all sides to visit, discuss cooperation, invest, and jointly share the growth and development opportunities of Inner Mongolia's energy, especially the new energy industry, contributing to the path of low-carbon development."

That's according to Zhang Zhanjun, deputy director of the region's energy bureau at the Regional Characteristic Industry High-Quality Development Forum in Hainan province on Dec 3, which was a subforum of the Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs.

In his speech, Zhang introduced the positive momentum of Inner Mongolia's energy development.

The autonomous region has fully promoted energy supply security and green low-carbon transformation, and maintained national firsts in indicators such as total power installed capacity, outward power delivery, new energy power generation, wind power installed capacity, outward coal delivery, and outward electricity delivery capacity, ensuring energy supply in 25 provinces and municipalities outside the region.

Secondly, Inner Mongolia's new energy industry is thriving, with the construction of new energy power systems accelerating, and the comprehensive implementation of market-oriented grid-connected new energy scenario applications.

Meanwhile, Inner Mongolia and the China Economic Information Service jointly developed and launched four indices of Inner Mongolia's modern energy economy, providing reference tools for the development of Inner Mongolia's modern energy economy and new energy.

On the same day, the forum released the latest achievements of the Inner Mongolia Modern Energy Economy Series Index in 2023.
