The Mingjia Art Museum in the Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) recently hosted an exhibition featuring traditional cultural arts and an intangible cultural heritage (ICH) handmade market.
The exhibition showcases a variety of traditional Chinese art forms, including calligraphy, painting, seal carving, rubbings, guqin (a seven-stringed plucked instrument), floral art, incense art, tea art, ceramics, New Year paintings, and paper-cutting.
Within the painting and calligraphy exhibition area, visitors can admire contemporary masterpieces created by renowned artists such as Chen Dayu and Liu Wenxi. The rubbings exhibition presents works like the Duke Mao Tripod, and the Fuxi and Nyuwa (known as the gods of Chinese mythology) stone rubbings.
In the floral art exhibition area, visitors can appreciate China's ICH through traditional Chinese flower arrangements and wall-mounted floral art pieces that resemble three-dimensional paintings. They can also try their hands at floral arrangement.
This event will run until Dec 4.
