The curtain fell on the 5th Zhejiang International Smart Transportation Industry Expo on Dec 3.
During the expo, 51 comprehensive transportation industry projects in Zhejiang province were signed into effect, with a total investment of 58.83 billion yuan ($8.24 billion), spanning domains such as rail transportation, green transportation, digital logistics, smart ports, and associated transportation services.
The expo serves as a crucial platform for advancing comprehensive transportation industries. Over its past four sessions, it has attracted more than 2,000 key domestic and international enterprises, leading to the signing of nearly-200-billion-yuan-worth of cooperation agreements on industrial projects. The expo has also played a positive role in promoting cooperation in the transportation sector, facilitating the commericalization of achievements, fostering technological innovation, and boosting talent exchange.
Zhejiang Transportation Group, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Expressway, inked a cooperation project with Lishui Transportation Investment Group this year focusing on financial collaboration in Lishui's transportation sector.
Zhejiang Airport Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Damco Global Logistics (Shanghai) Co, reinforcing collaboration in expanding international freight routes and advancing airport hub construction.
The official signing of the Meishan Railway Project agreement by Zhejiang Seaport Group involves a railway line stretching 25.53 kilometers and a total investment of 6.35 billion yuan. The project is intended to further enhance the connectivity of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port transportation channel.
